Izikathi Security fully supports government policies regarding Black Economic Empowerment.

Previously disadvantaged individuals (PDI) already hold 30% of the Group's share capital.

An empowerment and training programme is in place to ensure that suitably trained black managers will soon occupy a minimum of 60% of management positions.

We adhere to the four cornerstones of meaningful empowerment:

  1. Equal participation - partners have equity and are involved in day-to-day management of the company.
  2. Sub-contracting to PDIs.
  3. Outsourcing to PDIs.
  4. Effective affirmative action programmes - supported by training, skills and technology transfers, and tutorships.
